Must have gotten the bad one!
As hard as I tried to set it to the CHIME mode it reverts back to the loud siren. And after tripping it with the open/close sensor it takes about 30 seconds to activate. I need an immediate response and to be on chime. Will try another siren.

Works well
Nice that you can have a loud alarm or a lower chime sound. It would be good that it would have a few chime sounds rather than just one.

Good but Ready for the Next Evolution
I have used Insteon sirens for 20+ years since the first one came out. This is a replacement, as one finally died. It's time for the next evolution though! It would be nice to have a signaling device that is both audible and visual. One with volume control for the chime function and loud for the siren function. What would make it much more desirable would be adding an indicator light function. One that could show multiple colors and perhaps even have a selectable flashing indicator function. This could be a separate function from the chime or siren.
