I love this couch!
I bought this couch in July 2025 and I waited until now to write this review. I was looking for a couch to replace my 18 year old sectional and did a lot of research online before deciding to check out the Get Together. I was too nervous to buy a couch online without sitting on it first and was glad to see there was a showroom in LA. I made the hour and a half drive because I knew they had a Get Together couch in the showroom. The one they had was a large size and with a different fabric, but it was so incredibly comfortable! I loved it from the moment I sat on it. I debated for a while because it is quite expensive and the sales person was so helpful in answering all my questions. Her help and the reviews online (not just the Sunday’s site) helped me decide the money was worth it. I ended up getting the standard size in Oatmeal, five piece, but it’s really four couch pieces with the ottoman, which I placed on the end. I’m glad I didn’t get the other end as an arm because the tall cushion would have blocked the view to my tv. I have a small family room, but it fits perfectly. The oatmeal fabric is so pretty, but it’s really more gray than beige. The only downside is now I have to paint my walls. Haha. I live in southern CA where it is hot much of the year, but this material doesn’t make me hot. I also have two cats and their nails don’t snag on the material. The white glove delivery was quick (about two weeks). And convenient to my schedule. The boxes the pieces came in were enormous so I am glad I didn’t have to worry about dealing with those. The delivery guys set up the couch and placed it where I wanted it. I did not realize they did not interlock the pieces so I had to do that myself later. That was not easy at all. The couch is very heavy and I had to remove all of the cushions to be able to tip it on its side to connect the pieces. Not an easy task. The “skirt” had a definite crease in it from being folded up in the box, but many months later it’s starting to go away. I suppose I could also get a portable steamer to get the creases out, but it’s not that big of a deal to me. Although it’s considered a modular couch, I do not plan on moving the pieces around to make different configurations. I’ve moved the ottoman once and it was super heavy to move. I will only do it if I am having a movie night with someone else. I was a little nervous when I was looking online that it may be too much of a “modern” style for my house and my other furniture, but it’s really not. I’ve spilled on it once (chocolate ice cream) and it came out easily. I like the fact that you can remove the slip covers, but realistically, I don’t know if I will ever have to do that if everything wipes off so easily. There is a bit of a crinkle noise when you move sometimes, but it’s not annoying or very noticeable. I didn’t want to get a couch where I would have to fluff the cushions daily or have a sloppy look. This one is a little more tailored and I only fluff the cushions about once a week. I have flipped or switched the cushions about once a month but only because I tend to sit in the same spot. It’s a great couch for taking a nap as well. Four months in and I still really love this couch! I hope this review helps if you are on the fence about purchasing it.
