Tropicana Lettuce (52 Days)

Pelletized seeds are easy to plant, took a very long time (for me) to germinate

I have bought Pinetree seeds for many years and have always been impressed with their quality and prices! These seeds are pelletized, which means that they are WAY easier to handle than the usual tiny lettuce seeds. They do seem to take longer to germinate than regular seeds, however. I had to replant mine after only 1 or 2 sees germinated. BUT I am not a professional, and we had a fairly cold/dry spring here so I don't think there was anything wrong with the seeds themselves. Just a rookie gardender. I wonder if they should have been soaked first to soften the clay?
