Fantastic Travel Tripod

I own several Leofoto tripods, but all of them on the large side. I need a travel tripod, something small because of weight limits on aircraft and I looked to Leofoto. Based on the specs, the LS-254C X Ranger looked to be what might work for me. I placed the order and soon enough, the tripod arrived. I was overjoyed when I opened the fantastic packaging to look at the tripod. It came in a wonderful carry bag and included several tools and a set of short spikes for the feet. The tripod itself is exactly what I needed and the high quality I expect from Leofoto. I am writing this on the eve of a trip to Alaska to photography bears, so I have not had a chance to use it yet. The Ranger tripod series has some fantastic features such as the flip-locks to extend the angle of the legs. The height of the tripod, though not as tall as me when full extended, will work great with a little bit of bending over to look through the camera. It is a fair trade off for the incredibly small pack size. Overall 5 stars so far on this tripod and after use I don’t expect anything less. Leofoto makes fantastic products!

Sturdy and lightweight

Perfect minimalist tripod that can attach to my backpack with minimal weight. It’s workable at my height (5’8”) without the center column. Quality is excellent. I returned a larger tripod and the refund process was very quick.
