Built like a tank, easy to adjust, access to everything
I love this bracket for its robust construction, flexibility, and how it allows full articulation of the back screen, which is a feature I use a great deal. I have two R5 Mk IIs and put this PMG bracket on my first one. Then, when I bought a second R5 Mk II, I thought I'd save a little money and buy a cheaper L-bracket that has a cutout in the vertical L to allow limited (i.e., horizontal, plus or minus a few degrees) articulation. I quickly realized that the cutout just wasn't cutting it -- I missed having full articulation on my 2nd camera -- so I retired the cheaper bracket and bought a second PMG. Now I'm a happy camper regardless of which camera I'm using. Both PMG brackets have been great. Rugged, adjustable, and they give me all the benefits of a traditional L-bracket without impeding the full capabilities of my cameras.

3rd time is a charm
This is my 3rd L-bracket for all my Canon cameras. They serve multiple functions for me: 1. Hand grip that never fails: solid as a rock 2. Remote control shutter trigger for when I need to get out of the way. 3. Allows for vertical and horizontal orientation without making extreme geared head adjustments. 4. No interference with other camera connections. Did I mention that the company is local? I can pick up my gear within an hour. That’s my story and I’m sticking with it.

This is my second L bracket from Promediagear, I had previously bought the L bracket for the battery grip on my camera. I am very happy with that one and have now bought the non grip L bracket both are great quality maybe a bit heavier than some others but I don’t mind that.
