Beautiful boots. High quality leather and craftsmanship. I have a high instep, so it took a lot of work to get my foot in the boot. They were snug, but felt better the more I wore them. When walking in them, my heel stayed down in the boot.

That’s all there is to it. Perfect. I read reviews and thought I needed to half size up so I did but ended up sending back and going with my true size. Does run narrow but I like the snugness. I have no doubt will stretch over time. Took about 3 weeks to ship the initial then exchange. So expect to not be rushed but also know that this company isn’t Amazon and hopefully never will be. Quality takes time.

If the boot fits.

I give it a 5 because the boot arrived on time for Christmas and my wife loves it. I also have Taylor Swift to thank. But I got the wrong size. My only knock is that boots are tough to size if you’re not a cast member on Yellowstone. They say true to size on the website, and the chat function didn’t work when I tried it, so I winged it and got her shoe size. They were too tight. So just be careful. They do recommend going to a boot fitter, but that kind of blows the surprise. Anyway, she is planning to return them and try another size - she is really excited to wear them. Note to husbands and boyfriends, you can’t go wrong buying your lady these boots. They’re expensive, but the smell of leather when she opens the box is worth it.
