The Bag Trick
These boots are so beautiful! I’m a pretty true size 8 in regular shoes, and after reading some of the reviews, decided to order these in a size 8. I have a pretty high instep, though, and when they came, I couldn’t even get them on. I went into the store and tried on an 8 1/2, but they were clearly too big. The staff at the store taught me the “bag trick.” Use the plastic bag they came with and slide it on over your socks and the boots should slide on. Wear them around for a few hours a day and treat with plenty of leather conditioner. They are still hard to get on, but super comfortable once they’re on. I hope this can help someone else. I love them!
