iFi xDSD Gryphon | Portable USB Bluetooth DAC and Amp

Works with Audeze LCD-XC

I bough this DAC/AMP to use it with my Audeze LCD-XC and other full size headphones. For EIMs i use iFi Go Bar Kensei but for large headphones i would recommend something with more juice. And it works as expected - although remember that with xSpase or xBase or both will drain its battery faster. all in all really LOVE it. so many options including you can be connected physically or high res Blutooth and at the same time connect it to a charger there are so many options with this DAC/AMP - it is fantastic. I can only wish that it would cost couple of hundreds less than it is now - other than that no complains!

Just after waiting to get these from April on a different site, before picking them up here. I can say the wait was worth. I had to change settings on my phone and streaming service but once I got all that done it is awesome.

Packaging from Bloom and the manufacturer was perfect and felt premium. Shipping was quick and free with my purchase. Ordered on a Tuesday, in my hands on Friday. The unit performs as advertised. This is my first amp, headphone combination and I was immediately impressed. The build quality on this is high-end. I’m no audiophile (yet) but love how this sounds. I recommend playing with all the features as one change might not make a big impact on the sound but as you start moving around the options the combination of changes do make significant impacts. One minor and fixable opportunity. The USB-C is way too short. If you used this in a desktop set up it would be fine. But in a portable situation it just doesn’t work well. When you pick up your phone or laptop the cable is so short the gryphon is going to have to come with it. It’s not the end of the world but definitely not user friendly. I’ll have to replace it with something longer.
