Excellent product.

Nicely machined, fast shipping and good communication from Lake Erie Toolworks. Initial honing (1000 grit) can be done with a Naniwa Chosera or Shapton Kuro(Pro). But polishing requires diamond to sharpen the Vanadium and Niobium (columbium for old timers) carbides. I use 3000 grit diamond plate and 3 & 1 micron 3M lapping sheets on plate glass.

The best. Nothing else is close. They take a little more work to sharpen but they stay sharp waaaaaaaay longer. I have switched all of my heavy use planes over and am really happy with that decision.
