Really helped paint adhere to the metal
Refurbishing an old battery tray on a 55 Willys Wagon. Used a wire wheel and wire brush to get all paint and most of the rust off, then used POR-15 Degreaser as a final clean. The POR-15 metal prep is easy to use, made sure to keep the tray wet/damp (had to respray about 3-4 times,) and then rinsed with water and used compressed air to dry it completely. Primer and paint went on smoothly, and after 48 hours, I have a very nice looking battery tray, ready for install.

Stuff works great
Sandblasted with 2018 chevy 1500 and then painted with por-15. Stuff works amazing. Highly recommend not getting any on you skin. Once it dries, it takes some heavy duty scrubbing to get off. This represents how good of a product this is.

Amazing stuff. Don’t let it dry where you don’t want it...
I am restoring a 1974 Toyota Landcruiser and am coating most of the undercarriage with POR15. I am very methodical because I want correct preparation and no spillage or drips. The can lid can be hard to seal so I sandwich it between 2 clamps.
