Real courteous and attentive to my concerns

Customer service was 5 stars order the switch and it failed a few months later and replaced it without a hassle and this has to be the best electric motor I've ever owned, great company

Customer service is lacking….

Installation of part did not solve my issue as I found the lower unit with corrosion. I sent and called to receive the torque for the 2bolts on lower unit so I could order those parts but still have not received an answer. This is how you lose customers. I have decided to move on from Newport Vessels and will order both my next Jon boat and kayak motors from another manufacturer.

Your customer service is awesome, your product, not so much.

Nothing wrong with the speed switch but I couldn't give it 5 stars because it didn't fix the problem, which according to Ryan, is probably the coil(s) of the electric motor. All of your employees are courteous and very committed to excellent customer service. The reason I want a refund, rather than applying the value of the switch toward a new motor, is that I just don't have confidence in your product. I really haven't put all that many hours on my Newport Vessels trolling motor and yet it has failed. Your people are awesome; your product, not so much.
