NV Series Trolling Motor

Smooth Power!

We needed a more powerful motor than a standard 12V trolling unit for our 8’ x 16’ floating dock/boat. I tried a discount no name brand motor and after the first venture out on the lake I realized the quality just wasn’t there; one of the battery charge indicator LEDs wouldn’t light up and the throttle was very finicky for the various speed settings. The Newport NV86 works perfectly, runs much more smoothly and even though rated the same seems to be more powerful than the previous bargain basement motor.

I really like the Newport NV 62pd trolling motor. The head cam be turned around to mount the motor on the bow . Works great on my Tracker 12' jon boat , makes it easy to troll the river . The 5 forward 3 reverse gears are awesome the 5th gear is fast . Customer service is very good and helpful. You cant beat the price for a reliable and tough motor . I recommend newport and will buy from them again.
