Unable to install rock...

Unable to install rock guard after several hours of trying holes on rock guard dont line up with holes on the mount on bottom of motor,waiting 2 weeks for replacement rock guard , getting awful frustrated at this point ,as i have paid for the product ,but have not been able to install it

Great Product, Frustrating Install but Newport Made It Right

Great product overall, but the installation process left something to be desired. That said, I was extremely pleased with Newport’s customer service. They quickly sent out a replacement and even pre-installed part of the hardware to help simplify future installations — not only for me, but hopefully for other customers as well. Their willingness to listen and improve the customer experience definitely speaks volumes about the company.

Mounting difficulty

The tolerance for the bolts is too tight. Had to epoxy them in because there was no way to “press in” the tiny nuts to line up with bolts. I believe you could improve this by presetting the nuts in the factory. Other than that, I like the set up.
