Replacing Low-Quality/Plastic Car Cup
I like to have water at hand in the car and leave a cup in my car cup holder all the time. I previously had a made-in-China novelty glass cup with a plastic straw and lid, but with the hot temps a car interior can reach, I started worrying about what might be leaching into the water from the low-quality glass and plastics. So, I have replaced it with a trusty mason jar, bamboo lid, and metal straw, and I feel like the water in my car sippy cup is cleaner now! This lid fits a pint-sized, wide mouth mason jar perfectly (which fits my car cup holder well) and doesn't let water leak out. The ability to use a straw with it keeps driving distractions to a minimum.
