964/993 2WD Short Throw Shifter

Outstanding assistance!!

Just installed the shifter and adjustable rod in my 97 Porsche Targa. The feel is precise and natural, the throw (in the shorter setting) is perfect for my reach and preferred seating position. All concealed under the OEM shift boot and knob for a classic look. Modernized the feel of an already awesome car.

The unit is very well constructed with high quality fitment and machining. The install for my 993 was straightforward, and the video install tutorial on a 964 was very helpful. I used the stock rear push rod and the shortest throw option (the longer throw option would not allow shifts into 1, 3 and 5), and with that setup, the unit works flawlessly. Shifts are crisp and discrete. This is ab excellent upgrade!
