Adjustable Shift Rod 964/993

Finally got around to putting what appeared to be a great approach to the 964 shifter and the already installed numericracing short shifter. One big problem, the end piece that attaches to the shifter is too big…it is too thick when compared to the shifter I removed which did it in the half moon attachment area…Go figure why it was built this way…nice design and approach but will not fit! Please send a product that fits ir refund the money. Thanks for listening. TMarsh PS..I like your 964 shirt shifter too bad it does not connect to this item.

This is not a properly engineered part. The shift rod needs to be rigid in torsion. Using a turnbuckle with jam nuts guarantees that the torsional load on the rod will eventually loosen the jam nuts and turnbuckle.
