Porsche 991 - Controller

Porsche 911, GT3 991.2 Simple plug and play, Smooth, Fantastic. Very easy to install, simply unplug the PASM controller ( 2 x plugs/connections ) and plug in the DSC controller, it is as simple as that. The ride in my GT3 is less choppy, the controller smooths out the ride when driving normally and at speed/spirited, on all roads. Once you start to pick up the pace it performs as you would expect. As you lean in to the corners it stiffens the inner side suspension remaining predictable. When accelerating hard or braking hard the nose of the car does not lift of dip as it did before, body roll is minimal. I feel as though I have even more traction when doing both. The handling at higher speeds is even more ‘pointy’ , again, all predictable, with no change in driving style needed. I am a fan as you can tell by my review. If you are not sure,,,, just get one,, you will not be disappointed.

Perfect upgrade on my 991.2 Carrera S. Around town on the rougher roads and slower speeds compliant yet like a taught muscle. And then slaying in the canyons has been magnificent. Just seriously stepped up the performance of the sports suspension from Porsche.

I installed the controller on stock PASM Turbo S two days before a trip to the Dragon. I drove the car down from Indy and the ride was improved over large bumps and worse over choppy , high-frequency surfaces. There was almost no difference in feel between Normal and Sport+ so I left it in Sport+. This impression is all based on the stock DSC settings for the car. I will play around with different settings when I have a chance and I will report back then. My ultimate plan is to go with Nitron R3 Electron Coilovers and that will be the real test for the Controller.
