FoxFIRE zx280 Zoom Fiberglass-Hybrid Tenkara Rod

FoxFIRE - 8-16" Browns

This is my first Dragontail.rod. I'm new to tenkara and have 2 rods that were < $30 and so I don't have much to compare it to. I fished the Logan River tonight with the rod fully extended and.caught 4 browns in about 1/2 hr. Rod cast nicely and was able to set the hook easy enough. Amazing flexibility yet strong enough to land a decent ~16 incher. Current wasn't too strong; a swifter current would have been a big challenge. Handled the smaller fish easier. Had a lot of fun. I like the ability to adjust the rod length.

Foxfire Rod

Only had this for 2 weeks but really enjoying this rod. Nice soft action but still enough backbone for landing fish. Finding fully extended is my preferred length as long as there is casting room.
