Floral with plastic

I really wanted to like Jazmin Yucatan, I've been looking for a unique white floral scent and at first when smelling it on paper this seemed to be it. After ordering a sample and trying it out on my skin, I could smell the jasmine, passionflower bubble gummy type scent standout upon spraying it on, but as soon as it touched my skin I perceived a rubber/plastic smell that was really off putting. The plastic smell eventually disappeared, but so did the rest of the fragrance, noticed it did not have the best longevity.

It is a well put together fragrance, and I was curious to test something that had more white flowers, but this ended up being too much for me. That is not the fault of the fragrance, though. I wished that it had more of a petrichor presence to cut through the strong floral notes.

My favorite from DS & Durga, this is humid and green and I just love it.
