BasX A4 Four-Channel Power Amplifier

I already have an XPA-7 running my fronts, center and four surrounds. But the A4 is more than expected. Easy to set up. I am using the A4 to run my four ceiling Atmos speakers and they work fine. What surprised me is that it is helping my all-around sound because I am now able to run my Marantz 7015 receiver in full “pre-amp” mode. Receiver runs cooler and cleaner. Sound is better — maybe subjectively — but that’s ok because sounds better to me. A nice plus provided by A4.

Clean power

I chose the A4 to set up a biamped system in the bedroom, using the Emotiva PT2’s excellent bass management. Easy to set up and dial in; overkill for the size of the room perhaps, but I’ve always found too much power a much better solution than too little. Running CD’s, FM and MP3’s via Bluetooth, but it sounds so good now I want to add a turntable.
