Finally a company that understands customer support!
Originally purchased an SB-3000 which just didn't have enough SPL for my room size. I worked with Dominic in tech support on a Saturday afternoon to craft an upgrade strategy to meet my needs. Ended up with an SB-3000 R|Evolution and am very satisfied with the performance. Everything from the personal email from the owner welcoming me to the family, to the tech support, through the return process was well handled...a truly exceptional feat for any company these days. I will be following my strategy and purchasing the matching second sub soon. Thank you SVS!

Just What The Doctor Ordered
I have been working on a "bucket List" upgrade to my home theater system. I had upgraded my inwall speakers to Polk - LS and my AV receiver to a Marantz Cinema-50. After finding the best location in my living room I ran the receiver speaker calibration and was just as happy as I could be. The bass was coming from everywhere! The movie Ready Player One was especially great for testing deep bass. The walls were nearly shaking! The subwoofer itself is very well made and is not as large in the room as I expected. It especially disappeared after I put the grill on the front. For those of you looking for a subwoofer that does not require a second mortgage to buy or a lift truck to place in your house look no further than the SV SB-3000 R/Evolution. It is the best solution between insufficient power and excessive size and weight you will find.

Great subwoofer in a 12x16 room
This is an amazing subwoofer for my 12x16 room. I had to disregard the audussy sub matching 75 dB.matching test that was included in the denon 3800h as it had me turn down this sub to -29dB in my 12x16 plaster walls and ceiling room. I dont listem to atmos on 4k movies as i just have a 5.1 setup and not a fan of blasting sound effects with high peaks. Since i dont do the high peaks i just listen to the sub with my ears on the how bass sounds on blu ray audio discs and i usually go with -10dB. If i listen to atmos movies i will probably turn it back to -29dB because of the high peaks. Its a great sub with plenty of power to do 100hz crossovers on 4 bookself speakers and a center.
