Amazing DAC and excellent service

I'm very pleased with my purchase. Aamir was great to deal with. There was a shipping hiccup, probably due to Covid, and the carrier did not show to pick the item up on time. He had it shipped with another courier the next day and I had it in my hands in a short time. He went the extra mile so that I could be enjoying the DAC ASAP. This is a beautiful piece of gear. It's well built and heavy. The separation, clarity and detail are outstanding. I have heard this DAC is more resolving and less warm than the DAC-9, so I was worried it may be on the bright side. I can say there is no brightness and it is very pleasing to the ear. I love the versatility of having 2 analog inputs and remote, so I can use it as a preamp if needed. I'm using it mainly as a USB DAC for a Raspberry Pi4 streamer and everything works - DSD playback, higher sampling rates. I love being able to see the sampling rate on the very unique display. Nice piece!
