A Fantastic Small-Stream Rod

I couldn't be more pleased with the quality, design, and performance of items that I've ordered from Brent and DRAGONtail Tenkara! This Mizuchi just reaffirms my opinion.

Great “all purpose” rod!!! Creek to Pond, no problem!

I’ve used this rod a few times in the urban DFW fishing areas. Winding creeks used to manage reservoir water levels and neighborhood ponds. Target fish areas small mouth bass, pan fish, crappie, and the blue gills. I’ve always had a bite each time I go out. Being new to tenkara, I could use some practice setting the hook. The zooms in the rod are ideal for the diverse waters. So fun to go from a “dry fly” presentation to a sinking presentation without changing flies or lines! Love it!

mixed feelings but we'll see

I took a long time - as many do - to do the web-based research...e-commerce, videos, social media, etc. I had confidence in your brand; I. made my choice and you sent me the rod, easy peasy. But, I am a cautious sort, and I wanted to assemble my kit the right way, and, more importantly, understand what I was doing. I am a 30+ year fly fisherman, so there was less of a learning curve than others might have, but I think I did it correctly. The rod wasn't that hard to figure out...it was the line and leader stuff that gave me pause. I have to say that I got more benefit from watching other videos than I got from yours. Your long video was instructive in parts, but some of it gave the impression your audience already knew how to do this stuff. Not here! I actually haven't cast my rig yet, as I am homebound for a bit, and the wind here in Dallas is vicious. I will try to find some water soon, and let you know how it turns out. Paul
