Desky Minimalist Hidden Keypad

Good minimalist option

This is a great option for people who don't want the keypad to be visible (or bump-into-able) when not in use. I only change desk height a few times a day (mainly for meetings, and when I want to change position for a couple hours at a time) so I appreciate the aesthetic of having the keypad away most of the time. It doesn't wake from sleep buy pressing the up/down buttons, if you want to make a small adjustment (or set a new height preset) you need to hit one of the numbers first. Also the spring attachment works perfectly when unattached, but friction when attached means that it might not pop out fully by about .5cm. This doesn't effect functioning of the unit, however you need to pull it all the way out before it can be pushed back in. It would be good to be able to specify an alternate control option for a new desky frame on purchase, so you don't end up with a second control unit that you're not using. Overall, I prefer it to the hidden keypad to the default one, however I do wish it had the tactile nature of the default controller.

I love this unit because it keeps my child from 1)bumping into the original one and b) stops her from trying to push all the buttons.
