I was excited about purchasing this. As my typical shoot will take 3-4 different bags to take on location, between lights, stands, grip, and cameras. With this now I have two. My lights, 4 stands, modifiers and grip equipment fit in here and I use my Airport Security for camera and lenses and such. So much easier and was surprised actually how much it helped the speed of setting up and tearing down. One downside, it definitely can get heavy in a hurry, so be aware of that. But all the pros definitely out way that one con. It's nice at home also keeping everything organized in one spot as well.

Great product, Is it for you?

Production Manager 50 meets the high standards I expect from Think Tank. I didn’t check, but I made the assumption comes with a rain cover. It does not. My only critique is not so much about the bag but how I use it (and how you may be planning to use it). It is big. I wanted a bag that would fit my longer stands and a basic 3 light kit with modifiers. The bag does this extremely well. However, even packed with a two light kit with stands and modifiers this bag becomes very heavy and it is of course large and becomes difficult to handle despite the more than sufficient handles all around. Rolling is great but in and out of a vehicle and up and down even a few stairs can be a challenge. Think twice before loading it up if you are a one person show. Also, measure the back seat of your car. It fits into mine but only just. I like having a single bag for lighting; I wonder if I should have gone with the smaller size and carried my stands separately. Bird in the hand!

Studio in a bag

This is an excellent bag, very nice and strong built, spacious, makes studio in a bag life easier. I carry 4 lights, 2 light mods with barn doors, 2 heavy duty boom light stands, one backdrop stand with clamps and hooks for multiple backdrops, 2 small light stands, power cords and few other accessories. My studio is always on location and this bag makes my life easier. I'm thinking to add the 40 for beauty dishes, light modifiers and other things, even camera gear.
