Product photos are difficult to believe
I found it difficult to get the gear shown in the photos into this bag. A gripped D850 with Sigma 40mm, a Nikon 85 1.4D, a SB 800 in leather case, and I struggle to squeeze another 77mm filter size lens in this space. If you carry a flash, there's no room for the case. It seems like it should have been an extension of the 10 V2 but the dividers are slightly different. I don't like the front dump pockets when full because the Velcro straps allow small things to fall out. I don't like the zipper at all because it's very hard to zip around corners. If you carry a gripped DSLR and three lenses then keep looking. Most people have round head flashes these days and that will take away a lens position.

Retrospective 30 V2.0
Well made. Excellent quality. Well designed. Functional. A whole lot cheaper than Oberwerth.

I don't like it... I LOVE IT!!!
When I first saw these Retrospective bags, I wasn't really into the style. They looked old fashioned. But I am a TTP fan and know they have great stuff. After checking out offerings from Peak Design, Crumpler, and so on, I came back to my favorite bag maker: Think Tank Photo. After using the great online comparison and filtering tools, I settled on this bag. I wish it had a way to attach a small tripod, but I don't really miss it. This bag is like the Tardis -- it seems so much bigger on the inside than on the outside. The laptop pocket is perfect for my 16" MacBook Pro. I have been able to store my Nikon 850 with a 70-200 2.8 attached. The bag barely zippers closed with this in the middle of the bag, but the velcro closure closes tightly enough to leave that longer lens on and in the bag. This is something I wanted, but thought I would have to do without. I was wrong. The padded shoulder pad and beautiful, strong strap are top notch. There are so many multiple ways to use this bag with flaps, velcro, and pockets that covert to different use case scenarios. Very flexible! But my favorite feature is the collapsible water bottle pocket-- SCORE!!! I highly recommend this (and all other) Think Tank Photo Bags.
