Novus N6SS 6.5" Tripolar Surround Speakers Pair

One of the reasons I went with the Aperion Novus N6SS surrounds is that I wanted speakers that could create a truly immersive surround experience rather than just drawing attention to where the speakers were located. The tripole design has been amazing in that regard. It does a great job filling the room with sound, making effects feel more natural and enveloping instead of sounding like they’re coming from a single point on the wall. I also like that these are true 3 way speakers. That gives them a level of clarity and capability that makes them work equally well as side surrounds or rear surrounds in a 5.1 or larger setup. They’re detailed without being harsh, and they have no trouble keeping up with the rest of my system during demanding movie scenes. What I’ve noticed most since adding them is how much more seamless the surround field feels. Ambient effects, music, and directional cues all blend together in a way that pulls you into the movie without constantly reminding you where the speakers are located. As with the rest of my Aperion gear, the build quality is excellent and they’ve been a pleasure to own. My next upgrade will likely be adding another pair of Novus surrounds for the rear channels. The N6SS has impressed me enough that I can’t wait to hear what a fully matched Novus surround setup can do.

Works beautifully. Was surprised by the weight - really solid build quality. Good value! I'm currently renting so I can't quite install them how I'd like to, but they sound fantastic.
