My lifelong favorite went out of business and supplies ran out a few years ago; very hard to find a soap with similar characteristics - especially the price. It made for a great shave at a great value. Now, it seems as all the current manufacturers think expensive soap is the way to go. This soap is more than I'd like to pay but $7.50 is the best value I've found. It lathers-up fabulously and provides a nice glide; I get a smooth shave with it, and it leaves a nice, fresh smell. I'll try the other fragrance next purchase when my 3 bars are gone.
