I was hoping to use it with a low pressure CO2 source, since I am just giving CO2 injection a try at this point. (My experience is all very low tech up to this point. ) I foolishly believed AI, which said this diffuser would work with this kind of set up. It doesn't. I soaked it for 24 hours and tried it with an air pump I have on hand and even the air pump does not apply enough pressure. So far I am happy with the results of a low tech CO2 injection, so I may go with a higher tech system, and then I will definitely use the diffuser, because it's elegant and small and looks lovely in my tank, especially compared to the upturned make-up jar I use as a diffuser now. The product itself is very nice, but I think the product description should specify the pressure required.
