Japanese Trapdoor Snail

Adorable. Two babies born right after getting settled in their new home. Color seemed dull when they arrived but quickly improved. Very active.

Ordered 2, both were shipped alive, was a little worried about one of them since it took a while to start moving. Although, one of them gave birth, and now i have a single mini trapdoor snail roaming around. Keep mind these guys arent like other snails, and do not lay eggs at all. Should’ve probably looked into it before i bought them, but otherwise they’re great.

Arrived healthy and pregnant. I assume due to the stress from shipping after being acclimated she dropped 8 babies some were really tiny while others were grown. After about a week she dropped 2 more. All 10 plus momma are happy and thriving.
