Excellent IR and ‘normal’
Having got a 3D printed bay 1 filter adapter (meaning I could use my 52mm 850nm filter on a Yashica 635), I figured I’d try IR medium format for the first time.
I knew Rollei Superpan 200 was excellent in 35mm format, so had no doubts trying this in 120, knowing the grain would be even smoother, and the IR effect didn’t disappoint.
Developed in 1+2 ID-11 for 18 minutes.
The ‘normal’ black and white shooting is also excellent, meaning you can shoot not limited to to IR, giving brilliant flexibility.

Everyone should try Rollei Superpan 200
I like this film more than Rollei Infrared 400 which I like a lot. But this film is finer grained and I think makes even better infrared and black and white photos. In 120 you do sometimes get the "Rollei Rain" (black flecks) not a problem with 35mm. I shot it at ei125 for black and white and ei 6. with infrared filter.

Such a versatile film
I recently discovered this film, trying it first in 35mm to see where it fits within my photography...and it seems it fits with almost ANYTHING. What I found with my latest roll of this film is that it seems to like a polarising filter. I shot the sample images with my Mamiyaflex C2, and developed it in HC110 Dilution B for 6 mins at 20°c.
If you've not tried Superpan, you don't know what you're missing.
