Rollei RPX 400 - 35mm Film

Punchy and decisive

RPX400 is a fairly contrasty, punchy stock that rewards decisive exposure. There is less latitude than you will find on something like HP5+. Blacks tend to be crisp and grain is tight / fairly traditional. Resolves well.

One of my favourite black and films ever! Simply incomparable. Wish it returned back to the market.

Great film with lots of wiggle room

Like all the Rollei stock this film performs wonderfully at box speed, tolerance for pushing and pulling a stop is there, lacked some deep shadows but that may have been due to home developing. Prefer the ortho 25 but this is a great spring/autumn film
