Only 3 sprouts out of 12 but none of my other spinach worked this year either, so this is good odds considering!

A real struggle, but worth it if it grows
I’ve tried to grow this several times. It’s always very hard to germinate. The seedlings don’t move outside very well. Any kind of sunlight scorchers them to death. The best way I found is to grow them from seed outside. If you can get a few to germinate they can get huge and provide lots of tasty grains. You may even be able to overwinter than once.
