Craft Hard Pear Cider Recipe Kit - Mangrove Jack’s

I have made this particular kit 5 times and each time it turns out great. This is a slam dunk foolproof kit that goes very quickly. I have also tried the Peach/Passion Fruit one and the Berry one. Also very good. Strangely, the straight Apple version wasn’t as tasty to me, but it still wasn’t bad.

NOT Just for Cider

A hard cider kit isn't just for cider! NO, it's also for a CYSER and other interesting beverages. I would prefer not to add dextrose to the cider kit to boost its alcohol rating, but I prefer hard cider over 4% ABV. Solution ONE plain cider kit, and one pear flavored cider kit. (The Pear is Excellent) I use half of the plain kit to make mead flavored with apple juice aka Cyser. The other half is mixed with the pear flavored kit to give it the sugar boost with apple syrup, not with dextrose. Don't want to make mead, then why not make an apple ale with half of the plain kit, then boost the pear (or other flavor) kit with the remaining half? I like to add some additional pear flavoring as well. One final benefit of this kit, it's GLUTEN FREE for my friends who cannot drink ale.
