The right partner to go with the darning foot I bought

I'm glad I bought this and the foot at the same time. They work perfectly together. I was able to do free motion quilting with cover plate and darning foot and the plate stays in place the way it should. I'm happy with my purchase.

Nice idea

I bought this as well as the free motion foot and installed both on my Featherweight 221, but when I put the foot down, there was no room to slide the fabric around; I guess the feed dog cover is too thick for my machine.
