Received two defective B-hyve Smart Indoor Irrigation Controllers
First unit didn't produce a Bluetooth or WiFi signal. Warranty support sent a second unit. This second unit produces a very weak Bluetooth signal, and will only pair with the smart phone when the phone is 5 feet or so away from the B-hyve device. Bluetooth connections drop if over 20 ft. away. There is no WiFi signal that I can detect by searching for the B-Hyve’s MAC Address on the network. The B-Hyve app (vers. 3.0.55) cannot find/connect to the B-hyve device when the device is paired with the iPhone. According to Orbit's specs the minimum specified iOS version is iOS 15.1 or later. The iPhone that is paired with the B-Hyve unit and which is running the B-hyve app is operating iOS 16.7.15. Setup, troubleshooting, talking with B-Hyve Warranty Support, then setting up and troubleshooting the second unit has taken up multiple hours out of a busy schedule. Overall, very disappointing. Would not recommend this product.

Cell phone app is very useful
Does a nice job replacing my old rainbird controller and has a cell phone app to set up the watering schedule via a WiFi and/or Bluetooth connection. Takes some focused effort to program but well worth the upgrade.

The product worked as advertised and described. Easy to connect and install applicationl. Easy breezy manual and automated programming.
