I see why these cost so much now. They are super heavy duty and certainly not light weight (but in the good way). Only the highest quality material is used, even the rings and clips are metal, and the construction is phenominal. These could easily be passed down to my children’s children and probably still look new.

These are unbelievably rugged, well-made, outstanding gators I have tried many other brands and none compared to these. They would be exceptionally for hunters ranchers anyone working in extreme cold rugged train I only have one complaint. I am an archer and I hunt late season deer with archery equipment only . where quiet fabric is essential for stocking within range. These gators are made of a rugged nylon material that when rubs against brush and rock are not exactly quiet. I’m not saying they are loud. I’m just saying they are not quiet. They are by far the highest quality gators. I have owned in over 40 years and I will absolutely recommend them to anyone. My only complaint is when they rub against Sagebrush, bitter brush, rugged terrain they’re not super quiet if I was anything but a archer I would give these a 20 star rating but because I hunt late season mule deer exclusively with archery equipment I am forced to only give them a four star rating
