Tripowin Nucool

My oh my!

At the same time as ordering some other cables, I thought to give Nucool a shot given its good write-ups here and I'm still surprised how impressed I am with them (I'm wearing them as I type this review) - the chunkiness of the woven and inter-braided cables works for me and it helps (a lot) that the audio quality is excellent too.

Solid Cable

Very nice cable. It is definitely on the chunky side and has a nice feel to it. It gives my iem's a full bodied sound and adds weight to the low end. Great addition to my collection.

Excellent quality. Kinda heavy!

I am overall very satisfied with this cable. The sounds seems a little bit more full (airy) and meaty with bass. The only downside to this cable is it's really HEAVY. For some IEMs which sit very well in your ear, that may not be an issue. I am primarily using them with Kiwi Ears Orchestra Lite which are also a bit too big to my taste. While with stock cable they fit comfy, with this one the cable seems to hang on my ears and cause discomfort/exhaustion. I've had to buy a headphone cable holder for my IEMs. I use it to secure a bit more cable than needed, so it doesn't lie on my ears and doesn't press on them. It's much better now. Still, 5 star rating as it is just a very well built cable and has to have its weight.
