Smells expensive
Something about this smells like money..expensive and classy. A citrus open but not screeching..The davana, a note I find to be tricky, is perfect in the scent. It's the secret ingredient in this recipe..the patchouli is just enough, well balanced.
Long lasting and beautiful..I see a very well heeled and gracious lady wearing this to the country club for lunch with the ladies. Or on a summer evening, a romantic dinner at the yacht club with a handsome gentleman...
It's gorgeous with good performance..nothing cheap or juvenile about this perfume.
It's a stunner.

This is a spectacularly, beautiful perfume that closes with the heart of Shalimar, but other than that it stands entirely on its own

Powdery bliss
I usually shy away from powdery fragrances. I am more of a woodsy/ambery kind of gal. However, this is beautiful. A burst of sparkling citrus at the top smoothing out into a velvety powder with an undertone of vanilla. Shalimar-esque. I spritzed some on before bed and could smell it in the morning.
