The quality of this item is rather conflicting. The leather is superb, amongst some of the best leather one can get his hands on, the craftsmanship however presents an issue. When using the intended journal, the soft cover moleskine of the appropriate proportions, one cannot, as far as my experience has revealed thus far, open and close the journal without complications. Perhaps this issue will ease with time as the material breaks in, but this is merely a rather optimistic speculative assumption. This is the only item by this company that I’ve had an issue with, making me optimistic regarding updates to the product.
