Doesn’t stick to shower wall

I gave the Harvey & Oliver set and the body scrubber with a hook to my husband a few weeks ago for his birthday. He installed the pieces in our shower over the weekend and in just a few days the stickiness is already gone/worn off. The pieces have been falling off the shower wall. My husband was excited for these sets but it’s been disappointing how quickly they lost their stickiness.

I got this as a white elephant gift and the person hated it, but that’s not the products fault.
