Sakai Takayuki Hammered 33 Layers Damascus VG10 Petty Knife 80mm

Bought this for the wife as she was looking for a better solution to the basic paring knives we have used in the past. Really nicely finished knife with great balance and feel. With this particular handle and blade shape combination it really makes for versatile hand-positioning in multiple ways depending on how it's being used. Comfortable for both her and myself, even though I tend to be a single large knife user in the kitchen.

This has now become my go-to knife for cutting vegetables and fruits instead of Henckel Miyabi
