Best Update Ever!

Well, part of the best update ever. I purchased the XPA-3 Gen 3 in anticipation of upgrading my L/C/R front stage. System configuration at that time: Denon X6500H AVR providing 140-watts per channel with two channels driven (but I estimate only 35-50 watts per channel with all 11 channels driven in a 7. 2. 4 Dolby ATMOS configuration. All Klipsch speakers (except subs which are powered separately anyway - a pair of SVS PC-2000 Pro). My Klipsch speakers for that setup were: RP8000F, RP504C, RP204S (side and rear surrounds), and CDT-5800-C-II for the ceiling. I added the XPA-3 Gen 3 and I was really happy with this upgrade. My AVR runs cooler and the sound is effortless. The midrange opened up more and the highs are more refined (not harsh like many people complain about Klipsch. ) It was really nice. But then, my Klipsch RF7iii and RC64iii showed up to upgrade my front stage and …. OMG! The XPA-3 makes these “Fire Breathing Dragons” smoke!! It’s clean, effortless, and that’s at a gentle listening volume on music in stereo mode. When I throw in a movie … this living room theater just explodes with excitement! The dynamic range, from complete silence to massive explosions and everything in between, is simply amazing. I can’t recommend Emotiva highly enough. If you think you might be missing “something” in your system there are two possibilities (and BOTH can be true): you’re either not calibrated properly for your room (speaker placement, room treatments, delays, phase shifts, etc. ) OR you’re simply under powered in your front stage, OR … BOTH. I’m so happy with my purchase! Thank you, Emotiva!
