I love it. I have this paired with an XPA-3 on some PSB speakers, and it is a great combination that's lively. My wife uses it more than our old Marantz because it is easier to turn on and she loves the bluetooth so she can stream from her phone. This would be 5 stars but as many have stated, the remote control menu is more complex than it needs to be, enough to be annoying. I am investigating getting a universal remote to try to solve it.

XSP-1 Preamplifier

Build quality is excellent. I don’t think you can find a better preamp at this price than Emotiva. This preamp should cost $2500+ instead of $1200. I’m very happy with this preamp. quality throughout, the remote, chassis, binding posts, components and ease of use. This was a smart purchase. I bet if you did a AB test on a unit twice the cost, you wouldnt be able pick out the more expensive preamp. Don’t buy a preamp because it’s expensive, listen to how it matches your Amp. Highly recommended
