It does what it needs to do. The plate fits my 127 easily and slides when I need it to.

The cover from my thrifted Singer 1903 model 27 was extremely rusted ( not exactly useless, but, you know) and now it the machine looks fantastic. In addition, the slide front slide plate was missing, but SCORE!! Now I have a replacement. Thank you!
