Works well, the price is very reasonable for the product and its idiot proof (which i appreciate). No regrets on the purchase, great intro lapidary product. Just takes forever with the basic setup to get rocks to a proper polish. I figure if i get an 80 or 60 grit plate it will speed things up, 180 grit is quite slow unless you are starting from near ideal flat surface to start. I've been using the harbor freight wet saw to cut cause it was under 70 bucks, it isn't very clean and means more time polishing. My verdict, great intro device for polishing and im glad i bought one. Not 5 star worthy, that's perfection, but a solid 4, 4+.
