All-U-Need spray shield

Water catch is not conducive to sanding/grinding larger pieces of glass.

It is well-made but hinders using a piece of glass that is slightly wider/longer that the inner circle. I am remodeling mine by cutting off all of the rim except what is holding the water reservoir and placing a 3" tall door sweep upside down to catch water and all me to sand/grind larger pieces of glass.

Upgrade your 6" to an 8"

Get new backing plates and your in the groove
