Bamboo Shrimp (ATYOPSIS SPINIPES)

Smaller but active and looks healthy! I’ve had other bamboo shrimp from elsewhere that did not do well. But this one went right to feeding and found the best spot in the tank near the filter. Colored up to a nice tan color quickly. Seems quite content and looks healthy.

Beefy Girl

Shes such a beefy bamboo shrimp I love her, such a joy to see her with her weird little fans, her name is Jumbo. My dad said ‘whats so special about her shes just like any other prawn then she did the fan thing and he was instantly won over lmao

Bamboo shrimp!

This little (big) guy is pretty cool. Camps out in the water flow and picks particles out of the stream. Fun to watch.
