Good product, but just one or two hiccups

The product seems to work for my shrimp, and when I dose it they all become active and seaech for the source. I only had two real hiccups with this product. 1. There are no dosing instructions, so it seems to be guess work. I have added 1 drop per gallon every 2-3 days and it seems to be going well. But I don't know how much is too much or too little. 2. Because these are fermented products, they need to be "burped" to allow gases to escape. I did not realize this had not been done. When I opened the bottle, it absolutely DETONATED in my kitchen and splattered everywhere, even reaching the ceiling. Think of those videos of people opening a kombucha for the first time. It was very funny to me and im not upset, although it didn't leave the best smell in my kitchen. It smells very similar to soy sauce. About 1/4 of the bottle seems to have launched out, but the remaining product is more than enough to last me a long time. All in all, it definitely is "alive" and clearly had a lot of microbial activity in it. I'm sure this is helpful for my tank, and the shrimp seem to enjoy the smell so it's clearly desirable to them.
