This was my first TOTL/Summit-Fi set of headphones, and while I was on edge about whether these would be worth it, one listen, and those worries faded away. How I would summarize these is - no compromises. Even in the $1000-2000 range, you get a great listen but have to make trade offs. These are absolutely perfect for me - overall balanced sound (slightly U-shakes listen but never fatiguing) with outstanding resolution, detail, mid realism and bass like a dynamic but with the reach, speed and control of a planar. The sound stage has excellent width and depth with layering and positioning that is outstanding. What also amazing about this is they truly do reflect the master. It took me a while to figure out the soundstage, for example because if the master has an intimate presentation, these are intimate. If the master has a big stage, these get big. It’s truly awesome. I also own the Focal Clear, Audeze LCD-X (2021), Denon AH-D9200, Fostex TH900 Mk2 and Sennheiser IE900 IEM. These outperform all of them by far. Wonderful as all rounders when it comes to genre. They are also fairly easy to drive. They perform very well on my old Fostex HP-A4 DAC/Amp, and my Ferrum Erco DAC/Amp which is higher end and higher powered squeezes a bit more out of them - especially with low end impact and overall timbre. Highly recommend if you’ve got the bank to spare.
